These twelve pieces represent the comparison of my childhood and the changes that have happened and are in my life now. I reminisced memories of my childhood by looking at old photos of myself and chose a selection that reminded me most of my childhood. I visited the locations of these images to take replica photos and compare how the places have changed since. I transferred the new photos onto fabric. I then machine embroidered with black thread over the top, of my younger self in the same location, to create a ‘ghost’ of the past.
